Harold R. Joines Sr., 77, of Chrisney, Indiana, passed away on February 7, 2026.
Harold was born on September 15, 1948, in Clifty, Kentucky, to the late Hilbert Lee Joines and Helen Cleo (Skaggs) Joines.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Linda G. Uppencamp; his brothers, Leo Wayne Joines, Gene Curtis Joines, and Larry Andrew Joines; his nephew, Jeff Joines; and his grandchild, Steven Stepro.
Harold is survived by his daughters, Tammy Staats and Angela Joines; his sons, Tony Plunkett, Harold Joines Jr., and Eric Staats; and his grandchildren, Brittany Waters, Richard Stepro, Bryson Parm, Mason Parm, Bronson Parm, Braylen Rigsby, Erica Cunningham, and Steven Plunkett. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Harold enjoyed anything that involved adventure and being outdoors. He loved to laugh, joke around, and bring smiles to those around him. Known for his willingness to help, if something needed to be worked on or fixed, Harold was always the one to go to.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
