Dr. Daniel Fink, a devoted father and cherished member of the Evansville community, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and service. Dr. Fink was born in 1949 to William and Emma Leona Fink in Evansville, Indiana. He was a lifelong learner, graduating from Reitz Memorial High School and the University of Southern Indiana before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Driven by his commitment to improving oral health, Dr. Fink founded Dentasafe Dentistry in Evansville after completing his DDS. There, he dedicated his career to providing exceptional care to his patients and extended his generosity through charitable dental work for local religious institutions.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Fink pursued many other great passions including establishing Applewood Quarterhorse Ranch, woodworking, and crafting model ships.
Dr. Fink’s greatest passion was his family. Anyone who met Dan knew that his son, Daniel Jacob Fink, was his pride and joy. Together, they traveled the world, creating memories filled with adventure and love.
Dr. Fink’s life was defined by his kindness, craftsmanship, and devotion to both his family and community. His memory will live on in the countless lives he inspired and the profound legacy he leaves behind.
Dr. Fink is survived by his son, Daniel Jacob (Jessica), brother William (Lois), and his dog, Caesar. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Leona (Mosier), and sister, Joanne (Bill).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to America’s Toothfairy, an organization dedicated to increasing access to oral health care for underserved children through education, prevention, and treatment services.
