
Richard Matthew Maday “Budman”, 68, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. Richard was born on January 17,1957 to Jerome Maday and Billie Gayle (Hemenway) Williamson.
Growing up, you could find him bowling at Lincoln Lanes, pitching horseshoes, playing softball at the Legion, and spending time at Poorman’s Country Club. Rick had a strong love for the Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Hoosiers, and Minnesota Vikings. If you knew RIck, you knew he was sure to make you laugh and have a good time!
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Shelly (Williamson) Titzer.
Rick is survived by his children, Stephanie Maday, Jennifer (Austin) Seiler, and Hoyt Maday. His two grandchildren, Callie and Barrett Seiler. His siblings, Mike (Pam) Maday, Stan Maday, David “DD” (Julie) Williamson. His nieces and nephews, Matthew and Jami Maday, Amy and Adam Maday, Kevin (Becca) Williamson, Emily (Michael) Quinett, and Caleb Titzer, and his long time friend, Lisa Dowell and her son, Chase Sowers.
A celebration of life will be held on December 18th at Main Street United Methodist Church (222 East Main Street Boonville, IN 47601). Visitation will be held from 12-4 PM with service starting at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Poorman’s Country Club (PMCC).

I have known Rick for as long as I can ever remember…He was funny and a genuine person . He made me laugh and smile for many years!… everytime I saw him somewhere or if we messaged on Fb, we would laugh! He was a good friend.

Bud Man was a very good friend! He did make me laugh.I taught his daughter, Jami in school. We used to go with him & some family members to watch the Reds play. His mom was a very good friend.
