Leroy Wilson, 69, of Central City, Kentucky, passed away on July 30, 2025, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital while under the care of hospice.
Leroy was born on January 12, 1956, at Greenville Community Hospital. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Jason Wilson; and his two grandchildren, Hailey Wilson and Trenton Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters: Millie (Phil) Worter, Peggy (Donald) Sallee, and Donna (Barry) Fortney.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy Wilson; his wife, Sandy (Whitmer) Wilson; his daughter, Alisha Marie Wilson; his brothers, Billy Roy, Jimmy, Roger, Tommy, and Charles Wilson; and his sisters, Betty Obannon and Debbie Murphy.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A private family gathering may be held at a later date.
