Randall Alan Shelton, 73, of Evansville, IN went home to be with His Lord and Savior on June 3, 2025.
Randy was born in Evansville, IN on June 26, 1951, to the late Howard and Norma (Palmer) Shelton. He married Jeana Livers on December 22, 2010. She survives, as does a brother, Stephen, and his sister in law, Tina Shelton, his nieces, and a nephew.
Randy graduated from Harrison High School in 1969 and from Columbia Bible College (South Carolina) in 1983. He attended Townsend Bible Church in Newburgh, IN.
Randy’s vocational interests involved a variety of driving jobs and Christian ministries. He was blessed to work with a few Christian “discernment” ministries and lead classes and seminars where he sought to enable people to identify and avoid dangerous, counterfeit spiritual movements, as well as present true spirituality in the form of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a “watchman on the wall,” Randy strove to help keep people out of the “kingdom of darkness” and move them into the “kingdom of light” (of his Savior Jesus Christ). Besides speaking at several conferences and a few schools, he hosted the podcast program “Deception in the Last Days” for a few years.

I am going to deeply miss my brother in the Lord, one who has always been there for me when I needed prayer and encouragement. You were there for Tony and I prior to his passing, you gave Tony a beautiful eulogy, and now the two of you are rejoicing in the Lord together. “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Ps116:15 My good friend and brother in the Lord. I’m sure now that all your doubts and fears are gone along with all pain and trials of this life. Despite his ailments the Lord used him to bring folks to Jesus and to warn and educate the body of Christ about cults and heresy in the church. I thank his wife Jeana for her love for him and being a conduit of God’s grace for 10+ yrs of their marriage. Randy you are where I want to be along with all who love His appearing, in the arms of Jesus. See you soon and we will shuttle together for eternity. Maranatha!

Randy an Jeana are around the corner neighbors of mine an Jeana likes shopping at Fresh Thyme a store I work at so saw them a lot. Both the most thoughtful people I may have ever known. Very sorry to hear of Randys loss.

Took me awhile to find why Randy wasn’t calling me back. Met Randy Shelton at church here in Pasadena CA. Kept in touch over the years. Randy was a good influence in my life and I thank God for him. Jeana, sorry for your loss, you are in my prayers.
